Our free standing jib cranes are designed for heavy duty, high productivity applications, making them our most versatile cranes. They are ideal for placement beneath large bridge cranes, in open areas serving multiple workstations, outdoor applications such as loading docks, or in machining and assembly operations where overlapping jibs facilitate staged operation. The kit includes a boxed style head assembly that allows for prior installation of the head before the boom, thereby reducing installation clearances and maximizing hoist lift while enhancing stability compared to common sleeve-over-pipe designs, resulting in less deflection. The cranes are equipped with precision tapered roller bearings for smooth operation and long life, and full supporting triangular baseplate gussets are utilized instead of struts to further minimize deflection. Each crane comes with bolted movable trolley stops to limit trolley travel and is pre-engineered for use with powered hoists. The design accommodates a factor of 15% of the jib crane capacity for hoist and trolley weight and an additional 25% for impact, ensuring full rated capacity use. Furthermore, the large baseplate and special chemical anchors, included with the jib, eliminate the need for a foundation. Please note that templates and hoist trolley are not included.
