Our free standing jib cranes are designed for heavy duty, high productivity applications and offer versatility for various uses. They can be positioned underneath large bridge cranes, in open areas serving multiple work stations, in outdoor applications like loading docks, or in machining and assembly operations where they can overlap with other jibs for staged operation. The kit features a boxed style head assembly that allows for installation of the head before the boom, minimizing required installation clearances and maximizing hoist lift, while enhancing stability compared to common sleeve-over-pipe designs. The cranes utilize precision tapered roller bearings for smooth operation and extended lifespan. They also incorporate full supporting triangular baseplate gussets to reduce deflection. Included are bolted movable trolley stops to limit trolley travel. These free standing jib cranes are pre-engineered for use with powered hoists, allowing for a factor of 15% of the jib crane capacity to account for the hoist and trolley weight, with an additional 25% of the capacity allocated for impact, thereby permitting full rated capacity use of the jib. The large baseplate and special chemical anchors eliminate the need for a foundation. Note that templates and hoist trolley are not included.
