Our free standing jib cranes are designed for heavy duty, high productivity applications and offer versatility for a variety of uses. They are suitable for placing underneath large bridge cranes, in open areas for servicing multiple work stations, outdoor applications such as loading docks, and in machining and assembly operations where jibs can be overlapped for staged operation. The boxed style head assembly allows for head installation prior to the boom, thus reducing installation clearance requirements and maximizing hoist lift. This design also enhances stability compared to sleeve-over-pipe designs, resulting in reduced deflection. The cranes feature precision tapered roller bearings for smooth operation and longevity, along with full supporting triangular baseplate gussets to further minimize deflection. Each crane is equipped with bolted movable trolley stops to limit trolley travel and is pre-engineered for use with powered hoists. The design accommodates a factor of 15% of the jib crane capacity for hoist and trolley weight, with an additional 25% capacity for impact, allowing for full rated capacity use.
