Our free standing jib cranes are designed for heavy-duty, high productivity applications, offering versatility for various uses such as placement under large bridge cranes, in open areas serving multiple workstations, and outdoor applications like loading docks or machining and assembly operations where they can overlap with other jibs for staged operation. The kit includes a boxed style head assembly that allows for the installation of the head prior to the boom, reducing required installation clearances and maximizing hoist lift. This design enhances stability compared to common sleeve-over-pipe models, resulting in less deflection, supported by precision tapered roller bearings that ensure smooth operation and longevity. The cranes feature full supporting triangular baseplate gussets instead of struts to further minimize deflection. Additional attributes include bolted movable trolley stops that limit trolley travel, and the cranes are pre-engineered for use with powered hoists, accommodating a factor of 15% of the jib crane capacity for hoist and trolley weight, plus an additional 25% of capacity for impact, allowing for full rated capacity use. Notably, the large baseplate and special chemical anchors included with the jib eliminate the need for a foundation, although templates and hoist trolley are not included.
