Our free standing jib cranes are ideal for heavy duty, high productivity applications, making them our most versatile cranes. They are designed for placement underneath large bridge cranes, in open areas serving multiple work stations, in outdoor applications like loading docks, or within machining and assembly operations where they can overlap with other jibs for staged operation. The boxed style head assembly enables pre-installation of the head prior to the boom, reducing required installation clearances and allowing maximum hoist lift, while also enhancing stability compared to common sleeve-over-pipe designs, resulting in less deflection. Precision tapered roller bearings ensure smooth operation and longevity. Full supporting triangular baseplate gussets replace struts to further minimize deflection. Each crane comes equipped with bolted movable trolley stops to limit trolley travel. These cranes are pre-engineered for powered hoists, accommodating a factor of 15% of the jib crane capacity for hoist and trolley weight, plus an additional 25% for impact, thus allowing full rated capacity use. The large baseplate and special chemical anchors (included with the jib) eliminate the need for a foundation. Please note that templates and hoist trolley are not included.
