Our free standing jib cranes are designed for heavy duty, high productivity applications, making them our most versatile cranes. They are suitable for placement underneath large bridge cranes, in open areas serving multiple work stations, in outdoor settings such as loading docks, or in machining and assembly operations where they can overlap with other jibs for staged operation. The boxed style head assembly facilitates the installation of the head prior to the boom, thereby reducing required installation clearances and maximizing hoist lift. This design also enhances stability compared to common sleeve-over-pipe designs, resulting in less deflection. Equipped with precision tapered roller bearings, these cranes ensure smooth operation and longevity. Full supporting triangular baseplate gussets replace struts to further minimize deflection. The cranes feature bolted movable trolley stops to limit trolley travel and are pre-engineered for use with powered hoists. A factor of 15% of the jib crane capacity is allocated for the hoist and trolley weight, with an extra 25% allowed for impact, ensuring full rated capacity use of the jib.
