Our free standing jib cranes are designed for heavy duty, high productivity applications, offering versatility for various environments such as under large bridge cranes, open areas serving multiple work stations, outdoor loading docks, and assembly operations where they can overlap with other jibs for staged operation. The kit includes a boxed style head assembly, which permits pre-installation of the head before the boom, thus reducing required installation clearances and enhancing hoist lift. These cranes feature precision tapered roller bearings for smooth operation and longevity, with full supporting triangular baseplate gussets employed to minimize deflection compared to traditional sleeve-over-pipe designs. Bolted movable trolley stops are included to limit trolley travel, and the cranes are pre-engineered for use with powered hoists, allowing 15% of the jib crane capacity for hoist and trolley weight along with an additional 25% for impact, enabling full rated capacity utilization. The large baseplate and special chemical anchors included eliminate the need for a foundation, although templates and the hoist trolley are not provided.
