Our free standing jib cranes are designed for heavy-duty, high productivity applications and are recognized as our most versatile cranes. They are ideal for placement beneath large bridge cranes, in open areas to service multiple workstations, in outdoor settings like loading docks, or in machining and assembly operations where they can be combined with other jibs for staged operation. The kit includes a boxed style head assembly that allows for the installation of the head prior to the boom, which reduces required installation clearances and maximizes hoist lift. This design enhances stability compared to common sleeve-over-pipe configurations, resulting in less deflection. The cranes feature precision tapered roller bearings for smooth operation and longevity, along with full supporting triangular baseplate gussets that minimize deflection in place of struts. They also come equipped with bolted movable trolley stops to limit trolley travel. The cranes are pre-engineered for use with powered hoists, accommodating a 15% factor of the jib crane capacity for hoist and trolley weight, with an additional 25% allowance for impact, ensuring full rated capacity utilization. The large baseplate and special chemical anchors, included with the jib, eliminate the need for a foundation, although templates and the hoist trolley are not included.
