Our free standing jib cranes are designed for heavy-duty, high productivity applications, offering versatility for various settings such as under large bridge cranes, in open areas serving multiple workstations, outdoor loading docks, or machining and assembly operations where overlapping jibs enhance staged operations. The boxed style head assembly facilitates the installation of the head before the boom, reducing necessary installation clearances and allowing for maximum hoist lift while providing greater stability than typical sleeve-over-pipe designs, which minimizes deflection. Equipped with precise tapered roller bearings, these cranes ensure smooth operation and longevity. The design incorporates full supporting triangular baseplate gussets to further reduce deflection, and each crane features bolted movable trolley stops to limit trolley travel. Pre-engineered for powered hoists, these free standing jib cranes allow for a factor of 15% of the jib crane capacity for hoist and trolley weight, with an additional 25% allowance for impact, enabling full rated capacity use. The large baseplate and special chemical anchors, included with the jib, eliminate the need for a foundation, although templates and hoist trolley are not included.
