Our free standing jib cranes are designed for heavy-duty, high productivity applications, making them our most versatile cranes. These cranes can be effectively placed underneath large bridge cranes, in open areas serving multiple work stations, outdoor applications such as loading docks, or in machining and assembly operations where they can be overlapped with other jibs for staged operation. The kit includes a boxed style head assembly that facilitates the installation of the head prior to the boom, thereby reducing the required installation clearances and allowing maximum hoist lift, while also enhancing stability compared to common sleeve-over-pipe designs, which reduces deflection. Precision tapered roller bearings ensure smooth operation and longevity, and full supporting triangular baseplate gussets are used in place of struts to further minimize deflection. The cranes feature bolted movable trolley stops to limit trolley travel and are pre-engineered for use with powered hoists. The design allows for a factor of 15% of the jib crane capacity for the hoist and trolley weight, with an additional 25% of the capacity available for impact, providing full rated capacity use of the jib. The large baseplate and included special chemical anchors eliminate the need for a foundation. Templates and hoist trolley are not included.
