Our free standing jib cranes are designed for heavy duty, high productivity applications, making them versatile for various settings including placement beneath large bridge cranes, open areas serving multiple work stations, outdoor applications like loading docks, and machining and assembly operations where they can overlap with other jibs for staged operations. The kit includes a boxed style head assembly that allows the installation of the head prior to the boom, reducing installation clearances and maximizing hoist lift, while enhancing stability compared to sleeve-over-pipe designs and reducing deflection. The cranes are equipped with precision tapered roller bearings for smooth operation and longevity, and feature full supporting triangular baseplate gussets instead of struts to further minimize deflection. Bolted movable trolley stops are included to limit trolley travel. These cranes are pre-engineered for use with powered hoists, allowing a factor of 15% of the jib crane capacity for the hoist and trolley weight, with an additional 25% capacity for impact, thus enabling full rated capacity usage of the jib.
