The Arrow 9071 is an air/oil in-line filter made from sintered bronze with a filtration capacity of 40 microns and features a 1/8" NPT connection, capable of withstanding pressures up to 500 PSI. This in-line filter is specifically designed for the protection of small air tools such as impact wrenches, nut runners, grinders, and screwdrivers, helping to reduce downtime, prevent costly tool repairs, and extend tool life. It boasts an anodized, lightweight aluminum housing that is compact enough to be installed directly before the air tool. The standard 40 micron element ensures minimal pressure drop, with additional elements available in 20 and 90 microns by special order; the 20 micron element is recommended for hydraulic applications. Additionally, special Viton O-rings can be obtained through special order for use in oil systems where chemical action may be a concern. The filter operates within a temperature range of 35°F to 200°F, making it suitable for a variety of applications.
