The Arrow 9072 is an air/oil in-line filter made from sintered bronze with a filtration rating of 40 microns, designed to operate at a maximum pressure of 500 PSI and connection size of 1/4" NPT. This in-line filter is specifically engineered to protect small air tools, including impact wrenches, nut runners, grinders, and screwdrivers, thereby reducing downtime, preventing costly repairs, and extending tool lifespan. The unit features an all anodized, lightweight aluminum housing that is compact and can be installed directly before the air tool. Element replacement is straightforward and cost-effective, with the standard 40-micron element ensuring minimal pressure drop. Additionally, the filter is suitable for low pressure hydraulic applications, with the option to obtain elements in 20 and 90 microns by special order; a 20 micron element is recommended for hydraulic use. Special Viton O-rings are also available through special order for oil systems where chemical compatibility may be a concern. The operating temperature range is from 35°F to 200°F.
