The Arrow 9073 air/oil in-line filter features a sintered bronze element with a 40-micron filtration capability, designed for use with 3/8" NPT connections and a maximum pressure of 500 PSI. This in-line filter is specifically engineered to protect small air tools such as impact wrenches, nut runners, grinders, and screwdrivers, effectively reducing downtime, preventing costly repairs, and extending tool life. The housing is made from anodized, lightweight aluminum, ensuring a compact design suitable for direct placement before air tools. The standard 40-micron element ensures minimal pressure drop, with options available for 20 and 90 micron elements by special order; a 20-micron element is recommended for low-pressure hydraulic applications. Additionally, special Viton O-rings can be ordered for oil systems where chemical action may be a concern. The operating temperature range for this filter is from 35°F to 200°F.
