The Arrow 9074 air/oil in-line filter is designed for the protection of small air tools, such as impact wrenches, nut runners, grinders, and screwdrivers, with a sintered bronze element that filters particulates down to 40 microns. It features a 1/2" NPT connection and can withstand a maximum pressure of 500 psi. The filter is constructed from anodized lightweight aluminum, ensuring a compact design that can be positioned directly before the air tool. The standard 40-micron element provides minimal pressure drop, while options for 20 and 90-micron elements are available by special order, with a recommendation for the 20-micron element in low-pressure hydraulic applications. Additionally, special Viton O-rings can be ordered for oil systems that may encounter chemical action. The unit operates effectively within a temperature range of 35°F to 200°F and is suitable for various applications, ensuring reduced downtime, minimal costly tool repairs, and extended tool life.
