The Arrow ASP2BV is a pneumatic breather vent made from sintered bronze with a filtration rating of 40 microns and features a 1/4" NPT connection. It is designed to withstand a maximum operating pressure of 150 PSI and operates within a temperature range of 35°F to 300°F. This breather vent is suitable for various applications, including vacuum relief and pressure equalization on gearboxes, oil tanks, or reservoirs, and is often used in single acting cylinders to prevent dirt and foreign particles from entering the open ports. The unit incorporates a nickel-plated steel insert and comes with standard pipe thread fittings for quick assembly and easy removal for cleaning. Additionally, the filter element is available with alternative filtration ratings of 20 or 90 microns upon special order.
