The Arrow ASP-4BV is a pneumatic breather vent made of sintered bronze, featuring a 40 micron filtration capability and designed for a 1/2" NPT connection with a maximum pressure rating of 150 PSI. This breather vent serves various applications, such as vacuum relief and pressure equalization in gear boxes, oil tanks, and reservoirs. It is particularly useful in single acting cylinders to prevent the ingress of dirt and foreign particles into atmospheric ports. The unit includes a nickel plated steel insert and standard pipe thread fittings that facilitate quick assembly and removal for easy cleaning. Additionally, the breather vent is available with alternative filtration ratings of 20 or 90 microns upon special request. The specified operating temperature range is from 35°F to 300°F, ensuring versatility in different environmental conditions.
