The Arrow ASP-8BV is a pneumatic breather vent made from sintered bronze, featuring a 40-micron filtration capability and designed for a maximum operating pressure of 150 PSI. This breather vent is suitable for various applications, including vacuum relief and pressure equalization in gearboxes, oil tanks, and reservoirs. It is particularly useful in single-acting cylinders to prevent the ingress of dirt and foreign particles into ports exposed to the atmosphere. The unit includes a nickel-plated steel insert and comes equipped with standard pipe thread fittings for easy assembly and maintenance. The filter element is rated for 40 micron filtration but can be customized to 20 or 90 microns upon special request. The operating temperature range for this product is between 35°F and 300°F, ensuring versatility in diverse environments.
