The WaterHog® fashion entrance mat is constructed with a solution-dyed PET fabric made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic sourced from water bottles, combined with a rubber backing that contains 20% recycled tire content. It features a raised water dam border designed to trap dirt and water, helping to keep debris off floors and carpets; this border uses the same 100% PET fiber system as the mat surface. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the mat is certified slip-resistant by the National Floor Safety Institute. The mat measures 4 feet by 6 feet, with a thickness of 3/8 inch and an absorption rate of 24 ounces per square yard. It includes a PET carpet surface with an SBR rubber base and a needle punched carpet pile.
