The WaterHog® fashion entrance mat is made from solution-dyed PET fabric with a rubber backing containing 20% recycled tire content, and the PET fabric itself is composed of 100% post-consumer recycled plastic from water bottles. The mat features a raised water dam border that traps dirt and water, helping to keep debris off floors and carpets, with the border constructed from the same 100% PET fiber system as the mat surface. Designed for use in entranceways, the mat is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and is certified slip-resistant by the National Floor Safety Institute. The carpet surface is PET with an SBR rubber base, it measures 3 feet by 4 feet with a thickness of 3/8 inch, has an absorption rate of 24 ounces per square yard, and consists of a needle punched carpet pile.
