The Modine Hot Dawg® 100,000 BTU Separated Combustion Natural Gas Unit Heater is a Hot Dawg® Model HDS integral power-exhausted, separated combustion gas-fired unit heater designed to utilize fresh air for combustion, keeping indoor air clean. It features a dual vent pipe system—one for fresh air intake and the other for exhaust of flue gases—making it ideal for environments such as woodworking shops that may be dusty. Optional concentric vent adapter allows for streamlined installation through a sidewall or roof. The unit operates quietly with Hush-Puppy technology and is factory-configured for natural gas use, certified for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Its low-profile design and neutral color seamlessly blend with various décors, while the lightweight construction enables installation just 1" from the ceiling using included angle brackets (sizes 30-75) or the optional accessory for larger sizes (100, 125). The heater can also be lowered using a threaded rod accessory kit. Easy field wiring connections and knockouts facilitate quick access to gas and electricity, and right or left-hand controls are available on all 30-75 units. Furthermore, gas, electrical, and flue connections can be adjusted simply by flipping the Hot Dawg over and rotating the spring-loaded discharge louvers. The permanently-lubricated motor ensures reliable operation, and the unit is ETL listed. It comes with a full 10-year parts warranty on the heat exchanger and a 1-year limited warranty, and is manufactured in the U.S.A.
