Comstar's Copper Lock is an innovative and environmentally safe solution for soldering pipes, specifically designed for the US Space Program. This product provides an instant bond for copper and brass pipes and fittings without the need for heat or metal solder, making it suitable for all yellow metals and compatible with all refrigerants and liquids. To use Copper Lock, apply it inside the connector and/or onto the pipe, ensuring the liquid surrounds the entire circumference. Within 60 seconds, a permanent leak-proof seal is achieved. The formula can seal copper pipes up to 2 inches (580 mm) in diameter, with one 10ml bottle capable of bonding up to 40 3/8-inch fittings. It withstands pressures of 10,000 psi flow and 500 psi contained and operates efficiently in temperatures ranging from -60°F to +300°F. Water systems can be pressure tested in just 2 minutes, while A/C systems can be evaluated in 25 minutes. Additionally, Copper Lock can be disassembled at 400°F heat and then reapplied. It exceeds all US military copper bonding specifications: MIL-S-46163A Type I Grade K and MIL-S-224723E Letter Grade CVV.
