The Edwards 869STR Adaptabeacon series consists of bright low current high decibel surface mount combination electronic horn/strobes designed for indoor flush mount applications. The unit features a gray flame resistant housing and comes with five lens colors. It produces a 150 candela strobe with a clear lens and offers diode polarized units. With an engineered thermoplastic housing and a 1000 hour strobe tube, this device is optimized for use where a distinctive visual or audible signal is essential, such as in manufacturing sites for timing, scheduling, paging, process control, and general alarm applications. The horn and strobe can be operated independently, and the unit is meant for mounting in a standard 4" (102mm) square backbox with an extension ring (requiring a total minimum depth of 3" (76mm)), which is not supplied.
