The Edwards 125 Class XBR Xtra-Brite™ LED beacons are UL and CUL listed dual mode signaling devices designed for versatile applications. The beacons feature a corrosion resistant Type 4X enclosure, allowing for both panel and conduit mounting. Constructed with a base made from 33% glass filled nylon, they offer high resistance to heat and significant chemical resistivity. The shatter-resistant polycarbonate lens enhances durability, while the units operate on 120V AC and are available with a black base in either steady-on or lightburst versions. The clear lens is equipped with white LEDs and is immune to shock and vibration, functioning effectively within an operating temperature range of -31F to 150F (-35C to 66C). A protective wire guard is available under Cat. No. 125GRD. The 125XBRZ beacon ships in steady-on mode but can easily switch to lightburst mode when ultra visibility is critical. Each beacon includes a double threaded - 1/2" internal and 3/4" external - conduit hub for installation into an approved conduit box and can also be panel-mounted using the provided mounting gasket. It is essential to consider the surface and construction details of the panel during installation to maintain the integrity of the outdoor NEMA 4X rating.
