The Edwards 125 Class XBR Xtra-Brite™ LED beacons are UL and CUL listed dual mode signaling devices featuring a corrosion resistant Type 4X enclosure that allows for both panel and conduit mounting. The beacon's base is manufactured from a 33% glass filled nylon, ensuring high resistance to heat and high chemical resistivity, while the lens is made of shatter resistant polycarbonate. These beacons are available with either a black or gray base and come with amber, blue, green, red, or white lenses. The device operates at 24V DC and includes a dual mode that allows for steady-on or 65 FPM flashing options. It is immune to shock and vibration and has an operating temperature range of -31F to 150F (-35C to 66C). A protective wire guard is available under Cat. No. 125GRD. The beacons ship factory-set in steady-on mode, with an option to switch to flashing mode via an additional wire connection. The unit comes with a double threaded 1/2" internal and 3/4" external conduit hub for mounting into an approved conduit box, or can be panel-mounted using the provided mounting gasket. When panel mounting, it is important to consider the surface and construction details of the panel to maintain the integrity of the outdoor NEMA 4X rating.
