The Edwards 125 Class XBR Xtra-Brite™ LED beacons are UL and CUL listed dual mode signaling devices designed for reliability in various conditions. They feature a corrosion resistant Type 4X enclosure, suitable for panel or conduit mounting. The base is made from a 33% glass filled nylon, ensuring high resistance to heat and chemicals, while the lens is crafted from shatter resistant polycarbonate. The beacons operate at 24V DC and have a gray base, with dual mode options for steady-on and Lightburst versions, and come with a blue lens. They are immune to shock and vibration, with an operating temperature range of -31°F to 150°F (-35°C to 66°C). An optional protective wire guard is available under Cat. No. 125GRD. The 125XBRZ beacon is shipped in steady-on mode but can be easily switched to Lightburst mode when ultra visibility is necessary. Each beacon includes a double threaded - 1/2" internal and 3/4" external - conduit hub for installation into an approved conduit box, and can also be panel-mounted using the provided mounting gasket. It is important to consider the surface and construction details of the panel when panel mounting the 125 Class strobe to maintain the integrity of the outdoor NEMA 4X rating.
