The Edwards 125 Class XBR Xtra-Brite™ LED beacons are UL and CUL listed dual mode signaling devices designed for versatility and durability. They feature a corrosion-resistant Type 4X enclosure, and can be panel or conduit mounted. The base is made from 33% glass-filled nylon, offering high resistance to heat and excellent chemical resistivity, while the lens is composed of shatter-resistant polycarbonate. These beacons operate on 24V DC and come with a black base, available in dual mode steady-on/lightburst versions, and include a blue lens. They are immune to shock and vibration, with an operating temperature range of -31°F to 150°F (-35°C to 66°C). The beacon ships in steady-on mode but can be easily switched to lightburst mode for applications requiring ultra visibility. It is supplied with a double-threaded 1/2" internal and 3/4" external conduit hub for mounting into an approved conduit box, and can also be panel-mounted using the provided mounting gasket. When mounting to a panel, careful consideration of the surface and construction details is essential to maintain the integrity of the outdoor NEMA 4X rating.
