The Weatherproof 40W halogen lamp operates on a 120V AC model, while the 20W halogen lamp is designed for a 24V AC model. The cast base serves as a junction box, and the Edwards 50 Series Adaptabeacon flashing lights offer a bright visual indication through specialized optics within a shatter-resistant polycarbonate lens. Featuring a polycarbonate double Fresnel lens, these lights ensure efficient light dispersion through a series of complementing Fresnels that enhance the dome's illumination when in operation and increase beam distance. Available lens colors include red, amber, blue, green, magenta, and clear, suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. Direct mounting is possible with a 1/2" (13mm) conduit or on a 4" (102mm) octagon box, but for weatherproof installations, units must be mounted vertically with the lens facing up. They may also be corner-mounted using Cat. No. CBR corner mount bracket or wall-mounted with Cat. No. WBR wall mount bracket. For additional breakage protection, Cat. No. 92-GRD lens guard is recommended. Edwards flashing lights are especially beneficial in high noise level environments, alerting personnel in manufacturing and process areas when operations commence or cease, signaling equipment malfunctions such as assembly line jams, and warning personnel about restricted or hazardous areas.
