The Edwards 125 Class XBR Xtra-Brite™ LED beacons are UL and CUL listed dual mode signaling devices, offered in two versions: steady-on/flashing (125XBRM) and steady-on/lightburst (125XBRZ). They feature a corrosion resistant Type 4X enclosure and can be mounted either on a panel or via conduit. The base is constructed from 33% glass filled nylon, which provides high resistance to heat and excellent chemical resistivity, while the lens is made of shatter resistant polycarbonate. Both models are available with either a black or gray base and come with lens options in amber, blue, green, red, or white. The beacons operate on 120V AC, with specifications including a gray base, dual mode steady-on/65 FPM flashing, and an immune design to shock and vibration, functioning in an operating temperature range of -31°F to 150°F (-35°C to 66°C). A protective wire guard is available with Catalog No. 125GRD. The 125XBRM beacons are shipped from the factory in steady-on mode but can be switched to flashing mode (65 FPM) through an additional wire connection. Each beacon is supplied with a double threaded - 1/2" internal and 3/4" external - conduit hub suitable for mounting into an approved conduit box, and can also be panel-mounted using the included mounting gasket. When panel mounting, it is crucial to consider the surface and construction details of the panel to maintain the integrity of the outdoor NEMA 4X rating.
