The Edwards 125 Class XBR Xtra-Brite™ LED beacons are UL and CUL listed dual mode signaling devices designed for durability and versatility. These beacons feature a corrosion-resistant Type 4X enclosure and can be mounted either panel or conduit. The base is constructed from 33% glass-filled nylon, offering high resistance to heat and chemicals, while the lens is made of shatter-resistant polycarbonate. Available with a black or gray base, the beacons come with lens options in amber, blue, green, red, or white. Specific configurations include a 24V DC black base with dual mode steady-on/65 FPM flashing and an operating temperature range of -31°F to 150°F (-35°C to 66°C). The beacons are immune to shock and vibration, and feature a protective wire guard available as Cat. No. 125GRD. The 125XBRM beacons ship from the factory in steady-on mode but can be switched to flashing mode through an additional wire connection, while the 125XBRZ beacon can easily switch to lightburst mode when ultra visibility is needed. Each unit includes a double threaded 1/2" internal and 3/4" external conduit hub compatible with an approved conduit box, and can also be panel-mounted using the provided mounting gasket. It is crucial to consider the surface and construction details of the panel to ensure that the outdoor NEMA 4X rating is maintained.
