The Edwards 125 Class XBR Xtra-Brite™ LED beacons are UL and CUL listed dual mode signaling devices designed for reliable performance in various environments. These beacons are housed in a corrosion-resistant Type 4X enclosure, suitable for both panel and conduit mounting. The base is constructed from 33% glass-filled nylon, offering significant resistance to heat and chemicals, while the lens is made of shatter-resistant polycarbonate. Customers can choose between a black or gray base, with lens options available in amber, blue, green, red, or white. The beacons operate on 24V DC and feature a dual mode of steady-on or 65 FPM flashing. They are immune to shock and vibration and can operate in temperatures ranging from -31°F to 150°F (-35°C to 66°C). A protective wire guard is available under Cat. No. 125GRD. The 125XBRM models are shipped from the factory in steady-on mode but can be switched to flashing mode via an additional wire connection. The 125XBRZ model is also shipped in steady-on mode but can easily switch to Lightburst mode for enhanced visibility. Additionally, the beacons include a double-threaded - 1/2" internal and 3/4" external - conduit hub, allowing for mounting into an approved conduit box, or can be panel-mounted using the gasket provided. It is important to consider the surface and construction details of the panel during installation to maintain the outdoor NEMA 4X rating.
