The Weatherproof 40W halogen lamp operates at 120V AC, while the 20W halogen lamp functions at 24V AC. The cast base can be utilized as a junction box. The Edwards 50 Series Adaptabeacon flashing lights are designed for bright visual indications using special optics within a shatter-resistant polycarbonate lens. The polycarbonate double Fresnel lens ensures efficient light dispersion through a series of complementing Fresnels that allow the dome to "fill" during operation and increase beam distance. Lenses are offered in six colors: red, amber, blue, green, magenta, and clear. These lights are suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation and can be directly mounted on a 1/2" (13mm) conduit or box on a 4" (102mm) octagon box. For weatherproof installation, units should be mounted vertically with the lens facing up, and they may also be corner mounted using the Cat. No. CBR corner mount bracket or wall mounted using the Cat. No. WBR wall mount bracket. For enhanced protection against breakage, the Cat. No. 92-GRD lens guard can be used. The Edwards flashing lights are particularly effective in high noise level areas, especially where ear protection must be worn, and audible signals may not be heard or understood. They serve to advise personnel in manufacturing and process areas when operations are starting or stopping, to signal malfunctions in equipment such as assembly line jams, and to warn personnel entering restricted areas or areas of high danger.
