The Edwards 125 Class XBR Xtra-Brite™ LED beacons are UL and CUL listed dual mode signaling devices, offered in two models: steady-on/flashing (125XBRM) and steady-on/lightburst (125XBRZ). Both models feature a corrosion-resistant Type 4X enclosure, with a base made from 33% glass filled nylon for high resistance to heat and chemicals. The shatter-resistant polycarbonate lens comes in various colors: amber, blue, green, red, or white, with options for either a black or gray base. These beacons are available in 24V DC or 120V AC configurations, can be panel or conduit mounted, and are designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -31°F to 150°F (-35°C to 66°C). The 125XBRM model ships in steady-on mode but can easily switch to a flashing mode (65 FPM) via an additional wire connection, while the 125XBRZ is designed to switch to lightburst mode for enhanced visibility. Each beacon is provided with a double threaded conduit hub (1/2" internal and 3/4" external) for installation in approved conduit boxes or can be panel-mounted using the included gasket. When panel mounting, care must be taken to ensure the integrity of the NEMA 4X rating is maintained, taking into account the surface and construction details of the panel. Additionally, a protective wire guard (Cat. No. 125GRD) is available as an accessory.
