The Edwards 125 Class XBR Xtra-Brite™ LED beacons are UL and CUL listed dual mode signaling devices designed to withstand harsh conditions. These beacons feature a corrosion-resistant Type 4X enclosure and can be mounted either panel or conduit style. The base is constructed from a 33% glass-filled nylon, ensuring high resistance to both heat and chemical exposure, while the lens is made from shatter-resistant polycarbonate. The units operate at 24V DC and have a black base, available in dual mode steady-on/lightburst versions, with a green lens. They are immune to shock and vibration and can function optimally within an operating temperature range of -31F to 150F (-35C to 66C). Additionally, a protective wire guard is available under Cat. No. 125GRD. The 125XBRZ beacon is shipped in steady-on mode but can be easily switched to lightburst mode when ultra visibility is critical. The beacon includes a double threaded - 1/2" internal and 3/4" external - conduit hub for attachment to an approved conduit box, and it can also be panel-mounted using the gasket provided. When panel mounting the 125 Class strobe, it is important to consider the surface and construction details of the panel to ensure the integrity of the outdoor NEMA 4X rating is fully maintained.
