The Edwards 125 Class XBR Xtra-Brite™ LED beacons are UL and CUL listed dual mode signaling devices designed for durability and versatility. These beacons feature a corrosion-resistant type 4X enclosure, allowing for panel or conduit mounting. The base is constructed from 33% glass-filled nylon, which provides high resistance to heat and chemicals, while the lens is shatter-resistant polycarbonate. The beacons operate at 120V AC and are available in a gray base with red lens options. They come in dual mode steady-on/lightburst versions and are immune to shock and vibration, capable of operating in temperatures ranging from -31°F to 150°F (-35°C to 66°C). A protective wire guard is available under catalog number 125GRD. The 125XBRZ beacon is shipped in steady-on mode but can be easily switched to lightburst mode for enhanced visibility. Each unit includes a double threaded 1/2" internal and 3/4" external conduit hub for mounting into an approved conduit box, and can also be panel-mounted using the provided mounting gasket. When panel mounting, it's crucial to consider the surface and construction details to ensure that the NEMA 4X rating is fully maintained.
