The Edwards 125 Class XBR Xtra-Brite™ LED beacons are UL and CUL listed dual mode signaling devices that feature a corrosion-resistant type 4X enclosure, allowing for both panel and conduit mounting. The base is constructed from a 33% glass-filled nylon, providing high resistance to heat and excellent chemical resistivity, while the lens is made of shatter-resistant polycarbonate. This beacon operates on a 24V DC black base with dual mode steady-on/Lightburst versions and an amber lens that is immune to shock and vibration, functioning effectively in temperatures ranging from -31°F to 150°F (-35°C to 66°C). The device includes a protective wire guard, catalog number 125GRD, and ships in steady-on mode, with the option to easily switch to Lightburst mode for enhanced visibility. It is supplied with a double-threaded conduit hub (1/2" internal and 3/4" external) for installation into an approved conduit box, or it can be panel-mounted using the included mounting gasket. When panel mounting, care must be taken to ensure that the surface and construction details of the panel maintain the integrity of the outdoor NEMA 4X rating.
