The Edwards 125 Class XBR Xtra-Brite™ LED beacons are UL and CUL listed dual mode signaling devices designed for versatile mounting options. These beacons feature a corrosion-resistant Type 4X enclosure, which can be either panel or conduit mounted. The base is made from a 33% glass-filled nylon that offers high resistance to heat and chemicals, while the lens is constructed from shatter-resistant polycarbonate. The unit operates on 120V AC and is available in dual mode steady-on/Lightburst versions with a blue lens, ensuring immunity to shock and vibration, and can function effectively in temperatures ranging from -31°F to 150°F (-35°C to 66°C). Additionally, a protective wire guard, Cat. No. 125GRD, is available. The 125XBRZ beacon is shipped in steady-on mode but can be converted to Lightburst mode when higher visibility is required. It includes a double threaded conduit hub, featuring a 1/2" internal and 3/4" external thread, which facilitates mounting into an approved conduit box. For panel mounting, a mounting gasket is provided with the unit, and it is essential to consider the surface and construction details of the panel to maintain the integrity of the outdoor NEMA 4X rating.
