The Edwards 125 Class XBR Xtra-Brite™ LED beacons are UL and CUL listed dual mode signaling devices that feature a corrosion-resistant Type 4X enclosure, which allows for both panel and conduit mounting. Constructed with a base made from 33% glass-filled nylon, the beacons offer high resistance to heat and are highly resistant to chemicals. The lens is shatter-resistant polycarbonate, ensuring durability under various conditions. Operating at 24V DC with a gray base, the beacons are available in dual mode options with steady-on and lightburst versions, specifically with a red lens. They are immune to shock and vibration, and can function in temperatures ranging from -31°F to 150°F (-35°C to 66°C). The 125XBRZ beacon comes pre-shipped in steady-on mode, with the option to easily switch to lightburst mode when enhanced visibility is essential. Each beacon includes a double-threaded conduit hub, with a 1/2" internal and 3/4" external size, allowing installation into approved conduit boxes. Additionally, the unit can be panel-mounted utilizing the provided mounting gasket, and when doing so, it is important to consider the surface and construction details of the panel to maintain the integrity of the outdoor NEMA 4X rating fully.
