The Ultratech 9163 Ultra-Inlet Guard Plus® is a curb-style, oil and sediment filter designed for effective drain and inlet protection, measuring 24 inches by 24 inches. This product features heavy-duty non-woven geotextile material that efficiently removes oil and sediment from rainfall while preventing dirt, sand, trash, and other debris from clogging drains. Installation is quick and straightforward, utilizing built-in magnets to eliminate the need for lifting heavy catch basin grates. The material supports a flow rate of up to 92 gallons per square foot per minute and is designed to remove oil and other hydrocarbons from stormwater. Its low profile allows for easy passage of vehicles and personnel, making it unobtrusive in urban settings. The design includes built-in overflow ports to mitigate flooding and ponding during heavy rains. Compliance with NPDES, 40 CFR 122.26 (1999), TMDL, BMP, and SWPPP requirements is facilitated through its implementation.
