It features a geotextile fabric for enhanced durability and easy installation, making it suitable for use at industrial facilities, construction sites, and parking lots where stormwater runoff can carry oil, eroded soil, debris, and fuel contaminants from vehicles. Installation is straightforward; users need to lift the catch basin grating, insert the Drain Guard into the opening, and replace the grating, ensuring the fabric is pinched to secure the unit. This model boasts an impressive sediment removal efficiency exceeding 80% and can remove up to 1.38 gallons of hydrocarbons in addition to dirt, sand, and other contaminants.
