The Ultra-Drain Guard®, Oil & Sediment Plus model is engineered to filter stormwater waste before it becomes a problem in the water system, effectively removing contaminants such as litter, sand, and oil from stormwater flow. This storm drain filter features a geotextile fabric and offers easy installation, making it suitable for industrial facilities, construction sites, and parking lots where stormwater runoff may carry oil, eroded soil, debris, and fuel contaminants from vehicles. Installation is simple: lift the catch basin grating, insert the Drain Guard into the opening, and replace the grating while pinching the fabric to secure the unit in place. The product exceeds 80% sediment removal efficiency and can remove up to 1.38 gallons of hydrocarbons, along with dirt, sand, and other contaminants. Additionally, it helps users comply with NPDES, SPCC, and TMDL regulations.
