The Ultra-Drain Guard®, Oil & Sediment Plus model is engineered to filter stormwater waste before it becomes a problem in the water system. As a storm drain filter, it effectively removes contaminants such as litter, sand, and oil from stormwater flow. Featuring geotextile fabric for optimal filtration, it is designed for easy installation at industrial facilities, construction sites, and parking lots, where stormwater runoff can carry oil, eroded soil, debris, and fuel contaminants from vehicles. Installation is straightforward: simply lift the catch basin grating, insert the Drain Guard into the opening, and replace the grating, ensuring the fabric is pinched to hold the unit in place. This model exceeds 80% sediment removal efficiency and can remove up to 1.38 gallons of hydrocarbons in addition to dirt, sand, and other contaminants. It also assists in compliance with NPDES, SPCC, and TMDL regulations.
