The Ultra-Drain Guard®, recycled model effectively prevents oil and sediment from entering catch basins through the use of environmentally friendly inserts. Constructed from Ultra-Filter-Tex® material, which is 100% recycled, this model excels at removing oil, gas, and other hydrocarbons from water flow, while its hydrophilic properties allow for rapid water passage. With a superior water flow rate of 151 gal/ft² and built-in overflow ports, it minimizes ponding and flooding. The Ultra-Filter-Tex® material not only captures silt and sediment from runoff but also absorbs hydrocarbons. The installation process is straightforward: simply lift the catch basin grate, position the drain guard, and replace the grate. This product helps ensure compliance with NPDES, 40 CFR 122.26 (1999), SWPPP, and TMDL requirements.
