The steel pick shelving is a single starter unit measuring 78 inches high, 50 inches wide, and 24 inches deep, featuring five levels with a 15-degree shelf angle designed for assembly line production. This allows assemblers to more easily view and pick parts from the shelves as needed. As product is used, new product slides into place from the back, providing a perpetually supplied work and pick point that significantly enhances productivity. The front beam includes a product stop to prevent cartons, bins, or containers from sliding over the front edge. The bottom shelf can be inverted to direct empty boxes away from the work area. This shelving system is a very cost-effective method to stock, store, and increase cube density, making it an excellent way to begin building out your assembly or pick area. The starter units create the foundation for entire rows of shelving.
