The ActivGrip™ nitrile coated glove features a 12" design with a cotton liner and microfinish grip, making it ideal for general assembly of oily parts, metal handling, fishing, and machine operation. This glove incorporates a revolutionary surface treatment that ensures superior grip in dry, wet, and oily conditions, with a Microfinish™ surface that adapts to various environments by utilizing tiny suction cups for enhanced contact. The seamless cotton liner offers comfort and a better fit, while the Microfinish™ coating ensures excellent resistance to liquid permeation, providing significant protection against punctures and abrasions. Made from nitrile, the glove delivers good resistance to hydrocarbon derivatives and is tough against abrasion, snags, and perforation, although it is not suitable for oily conditions or prolonged contact with ketones and aromatic solvents. The Microfinish grip employs a soft, flexible compound filled with suction cups that create a vacuum effect to disperse fluids, allowing clean surface contact. The interlock lining dries quickly, produces minimal lint, and provides great dexterity. Compliance with EN 388 2016 is indicated by a rating of 4121X, with an abrasion rating of 4, cut (Coupe test) rating of 1, tear rating of 2, puncture rating of 1, and an impact protection rating of X. The cut level is assessed by the number of cycles a spinning blade takes to cut through the fabric, with higher cycle counts corresponding to better glove ratings.
