The Ambi-Dex® Repel disposable latex gloves are powder-free with a textured grip, designed with a 5 mil thickness, making them ideal for use in laboratories, production, inspection, cleaning, and light duty applications. The gloves are ambidextrous, allowing for quick and easy donning, while the beaded cuff enhances the strength of the cuff edge for a longer glove life and helps prevent liquid run-off. They comply with FDA food handling requirements (21 CFR, part 177) and meet the ASTM A-3578 specification for powder. The latex material provides good resistance to numerous acids and ketones, is flexible, and is resistant to tearing and snagging; however, it is important to note that latex should not be used for contact with hydrocarbon-based oils or solvents, and some users may experience intolerance to the material. The gloves are manufactured using a chlorination process that reduces tackiness for easier donning and ensures no residual traces are left on surfaces.
