The Ambi-Dex® Repel disposable latex glove is a powder-free glove with a textured grip, designed with a thickness of 5 mil, making it ideal for use in laboratories, production, inspection, cleaning, and light-duty applications. This ambidextrous glove allows for quick and easy donning, while its powder-free design ensures clean comfort and superior tactile sensitivity. The beaded cuff enhances the glove's durability and prevents liquid run-off, adhering to FDA food handling requirements as specified in 21 CFR, part 177. Additionally, the glove meets the ASTM A-3578 specification for powder and is classified as industry-grade for non-medical use. Made from latex, the glove offers good resistance to numerous acids and ketones and is both flexible and tear- and snag-resistant. It is important to note that latex should not be used in contact with hydrocarbon-based oils or solvents, and some users may experience intolerance to the material. The powder-free manufacturing process employs chlorination to create a less tacky glove surface, facilitating easy donning without leaving any residual traces on surfaces.
