The Ambi-Dex® Repel disposable latex glove is a powder-free option featuring a textured grip and a thickness of 5 mil, making it ideal for use in laboratories, production, inspection, cleaning, and light-duty applications. These ambidextrous gloves allow for quick and easy donning and are designed with a beaded cuff that enhances cuff edge strength for longer glove life and prevents liquid run-off. They comply with FDA food handling requirements as specified in 21 CFR, part 177, and meet the ASTM A-3578 specification for powder. Made from latex, these gloves offer good resistance to various acids and ketones, flexibility, and are tear and snag resistant. However, they are not suitable for contact with hydrocarbon-based oils or solvents, and some users may experience intolerance to latex. The powder-free design is achieved through a chlorination process that results in a less tacky glove surface for easier donning and leaves no residual traces on surfaces.
