The Ambi-Dex® Turbo disposable nitrile glove is a powder-free option designed for versatile use across various applications, providing light hand protection from liquids, chemicals, and debris. With a thickness of 5 mil, these gloves offer economical puncture resistance while ensuring great comfort, dexterity, and tactile sensitivity. The textured grip enhances handling in both wet and dry environments, and the gloves are ambidextrous for quick and easy donning. These gloves contain no natural rubber latex proteins and are made from component materials that comply with federal regulations for food contact, specifically 21 CFR 177.2600. Suitable for non-medical use, they are ESD safe with a static dissipative range at 10^8 ohms and are silicone-free. Constructed from nitrile, these gloves provide good resistance to hydrocarbon derivatives, are tough against abrasion, snags, and perforation, although nitrile with a smooth finish is not recommended for oily conditions, and prolonged contact with ketones and aromatic solvents should be avoided. The powder-free design is achieved through a chlorination process that results in a less tacky surface, facilitating donning without leaving residual traces on surfaces.
