The Ambi-Dex® Repel disposable latex glove is a powder-free option with a textured grip, featuring a thickness of 5 mil, making it ideal for use in laboratories, production, inspection, cleaning, and light-duty applications. This ambidextrous glove allows for quick and easy donning, while the beaded cuff enhances the strength of the cuff edge, promoting a longer glove life and preventing liquid run-off. It complies with FDA food handling requirements per 21 CFR, Part 177, and meets the ASTM A-3578 specification for powder. The gloves are made from latex, which offers good resistance to numerous acids and ketones and is flexible, as well as tear and snag resistant. However, latex should not be used for contact with hydrocarbon-based oils or solvents, and some users may experience intolerance to the material. The powder-free nature of the glove is achieved through a chlorination process that creates a less tacky surface, facilitating donning without leaving residual traces on surfaces.
